Business execs of the corporations mentioned are not all that trustworthy in these decisions. As I mentioned here before, the dumb thing about the GA law is the 'no water'. Russian Easter Overture
It's Easter Sunday! This is certainly a day to enjoy Rimsky-Korsakov's Russian Easter Overture. That was the first piece of classical music I really got into. We rehearsed a transcription of it in school band and I became very interested. I soon purchased the Ansermet/OSR recording of it on London r...

As long as it's "policed" to prevent corruption I do not mind how voters cast their ballots. My preference is vote in person, or the common absentee procedure. I've never thought a drop box was an especially good idea. No water for those in line is dumb. is it feared that the bottles will have lable...

DC should remain a district. Why? Do you have an objection that you could share with us, other than the fact that most D.C. voters hold political views that are different than yours? 1) I prefer the nation's capitol to be in a 'neutral zone'. 2) You have no idea regarding my political views. They a...

These recordings are probably in some larger boxes, but this is a 12cd box collection of: Haydn's London Symphonies, Paris Symphonies. 4 Masses. and Die Schopfung, all with Bernstein/NYPO on Sony. Do any of you also have this?

barney and jserraglio, I am glad you are being sarcastic, but it doesn't sound that way to me. Where do you get that I do not mind the 'secessionists', js? Nothing distorted in my statement. Surely, some of you are NOT serious! We fought a war over secession and decided the UNITED states is the way to be. Over 600,000 of us died in that conflict. No reason to do it again. I'm not grumping at just those who actually hold the view, but more at us here who 'cheer it on'.
