News reports this am ( Wed ) suggest there may be some damage to the organ and windows, assessment on-going, and remaining risks of further structural collapse, but still sounds optimistic overall. Over US$950M raised so far, The renovation underway when fire occurred was to cost about US$7M.

How do the eagles manage in the HOT weather with all that feathering? I imagine it can turn warm rather quickly too. Usual mid to late Summer temps in Decorah will range 27C to 35C , with a few days is some years at or slightly above 38C ( 80F. - 100F. ). The birds hopefully have benefit of cooling...

I have the Granados 12 Spanish Dances and the LvB "Hammerklavier" only. Extraordinary , even compared to ADL and the great LvB players. If one is interested in only the Spanish, there is a 2-cd Philips set at Amazon-US for about $ 7 used.

I think you will find Le Sage has quite a different conception of these works than most of the earlier recordings by the others mentioned here.I am still assessing, but not be missed, IMHO,especially since free listening for awhile at the link,and in good sound.Fww.
