I have never heard the GVs played on the guitar, so I looked up Eotvos' version on youtube. Thanks for telling me about this.
My first instincts were right - it does sound odd to me on the guitar, that most beautiful of instruments. Maybe repeated listenings would get me used to it.

Gosh! I find the sound of the accordion just beautiful, right up there with classical guitar. I really would like to hear the GB variations played on it, though it might sound odd at first listen.

They are nice pickled, and as borsch and kvass (lactic acid fermented). I'm growing Cylindra variety this year. But just plain boiled or baked beets? To each his own, but I don't think that's a traditional thing. More of a modern invention.

Bach indeed is the best, ratsrcute, but Rameau, D Scarlatti & Couperin are to me almost as appealing. Some of their works even more so. When you say "baroque" do you mean only high baroque or the earlier stuff, too, by the way? (Not that I even know the dividing line.

Thanks for info. Now, how about going to bed early? They say that it's not the number of hours, but the actual time of going to bed & fallling asleep that matters (for good health). Really. In the olden days, the hours between 10 PM & 12:00 were considered "beauty sleep" time.
