I met John in the 1990s. We corresponded by email a nd by phone regularly. I last spoke with him by phone probably a week or two ago. He was always very helpful. He was a wonderful person. I knew he was not well but this is a shock. Hopefully there is good music wherever he is.

Why not join? You don’t have to get on line; you get invites to some exhibitions before they open to the public; discounts in the Dining Room on the fourth floor; discounts in the bookstors; a glossy publication about holdings and exhibitions a few times a year; etc.

Get a phone that blocks phone calls of your choice. My Panasonic does. And subscribe to Nomorobo. It’s free. These are not for cell phones. For cell phones get one that blocks phone calls. My iphone SE blocks phone calls.

I am using an ipad and stream to my Tivoli Pal radio. Unfortunately those you list only stream via Windows. I have found by googling a few classical music stations to stream. Not WQXR which seems distorted in its transmission. Any suggestions howto find others?

Strangely, while I cannot log in on my ipad using Quick links, and must log in each timeusing the login window, I can log in using Quick links on my iphone, which is too small to read comfortably. Both are ios11.
