Well, the thought occurred to me about the spelling, and the English on some of the Melodiyadiscs are not always accurate. Funny, with all the accolades this pianist has received, she is not very often in the studios - and should be!

Indeed, amazing how quickly the tempo changed in the first movement. It didn't take Rodzinski long to "get going," either! Apparently Horowitz wasn't happy with the starting tempo, either that, or it was pure nerves. Maybe a bit of both.

So far, minus four degrees at 12:35am on a Saturday morning. A long time since I've experienced such a long cold spell. We are sick of it. Some friends are complaining now that the mice are coming into their warm house. Poor things, they get cold (and hungry, too).
