We had a Tower here in Dallas, but it gradually went down with the others several years ago. The website is now just a front-end to Caiman.com, also selling on Amazon. I've been shopping on-line exclusively for several years. I like MDT for fast fulfillment, but as Lance said, they've been expensive...

I find the liturgical forms exceptionally dreary, ascetic, religious, my least favorite. I too agreed with Barry's post on the previous page, but just then the Prokofiev concerti came to mind, which I love, and I've always had a hard time with his symphonies, save #3 (and #1). Hmmmm ... Really?---A...

If you come to know something about Him, then you can relax about the exigencies of contemporary history. Sorry, but that is pure predestinationalistic fatalistic crapola. God never meant for us to utterly abandon the earth as if all that matters is him coming again. Yes, as a particular Christian ...

I have a lot of SACDs and only hope machines will still be made that can read them in the future. Aren't most SACDs at this point hybrids that will also play on CD players? Yes, most are hybrids, but I only pay attention to classical. The early single-layer SACDs appear to be on the way out. I got ...

For some of the best sound you'll ever hear, and a fine performance as well, try Mahler 2 cond. by Fischer on Channel classics. Too bad Sony stopped making SACDs, but I agree, some of the Szell titles are wonderful, as is Schippers doing Pictures and Nevsky with the NYPO from the early '60s. Wonder...

This was an excellent movie. I grew up with this music in the home, so I felt right at home watching the movie. My father, Ray Roberson, didn't live as long as Ray Charles Robinson, but he was a wonderful father, and he loved good music. Ray Charles was an amazing musician.
