Another composer told me its entirely standard to notate several "grace" notes in a row, although maybe they aren't called "grace notes".. but anyway the standard notation is two beams and a fairly large slash through the leftmost stem (long enough to extend above the beat). I bought a Brother Laser Printer (HL-5140 - black only, no color) around 2005 for under $200. It's printed off a ton of my music and still works great.
