You can donate to a college library, especially music schools and you will feel good that young music students will be listening to classical music in the future.

Vastly underrated maestro Conlon should have been made Music Director instead of Gilbert years ago. But he wasn't and now he is going far, far away. Sadly, he missed the gold NYP ring and has apparently ruled himself out this time...Italy's gain is America's loss.

The great Ernest Ansermet recorded Honegger's Le Roi David in 1957 and it is still available from Australian Eloquence in a stunning 3 CD set including the Honegger Symphonies #2,3,4 and more Honegger and Frank Martin's 'In Terra Pax'. A fabulous and authoritative trio of discs.
