Re: COVID,El Nino, and Fuji rugby in Oz
The terms of the Covid enquiry are seriously flawed and looks like it's a thinly disguised attempt to beat up the federal opposition party who were in power at the time. The reason I say this is because the majority of decisions regarding Covid were made by the state governments , not the federals (...

I have never been a great fan of children who have been touted as the next best thing as a pianist only to fall into obscurity. Just having a listen now. Two movements into Partita 1 and I notice that Yuan Sheng takes a more leisurely approach than many others in number 1. There is also some ornamentation that I haven't heard before but of course adding ornaments at will was the thing in Bach's time. Sheng makes the opening ...

The real pressure on students is not ideological but the need to perform. The amount of assessment that the students encounter at the school that I teach at is insanely high and I suspect that it is the same Australia wide regardless of the system. If that doesn't mean leave them there to be bashed and abused, what do you think it does mean? Let’s try this one more time. There are parallels with this in car audio. With the wide dynamic range of today’s audio media, many frequencies from both ends of the range are masked or distorted by road noise. Take a little bit of poetic licence and substitute 'Soylent Green' for 'Processed Food' and we've been there for some time now. There are other parallels to be made as well regarding who eats whole foods and who eats processed. If you don't have the money then your choice is limited.
