I agree with everything you said, Lance. And I think Meryl Streep's singing was actually more accurate than what I remember of that of the real Florence. He was a neighbor, though I only met him once briefly. His son became a good friend of ours. Last year they moved to Wisconsin, where they had more family. Despite his early fame he remained a very nice, decent and generous family man.

Holden is right. The new disc is not yet available on CD Baby because I just received the discs. The other one is the 1965 all-Beethoven recital in Bayreuth.
