Indeed, what a great artist and superb performance of the Elgar on Testament [1204] with Barbirolli, paired with the Dvorak concerto, Schwarz conducting. Navarra's recordings (transfers) can be found on the now elusive Lys label from France [Vols. 1-3: 306, 380-381, 448]. Calliope issued the Bach Suites [9641]. Dutton issued a great Brahms "Double" (with violinist Campoli) [1020], which also appeared on a Disky issue [705902]. On Multisonic [310039] there is another Dvorak Concerto with Stupka conducting the Prague Radio Orchestra. Navarra appears on quite a few labels, but the Lys series gives the finest cross-section of his performances.
