Does anyone use B&W speakers in their system? I just bought a pair of 804S's for my small system. I really liked them: nice tight bass, clean highs and mids, beautiful cabinets.
I'm curious about opinions with respect to classical listening ...

I owned a pair of B+W D(12s?) and their tight sound, accurate midrange and treble were revelatory for their size. But I hungered for deeper bass and got some Acoustic Research's instead. The sound wasn't as tight but the bass was deeper and fuller.
However, I believe that the latest B+Ws are much better in the bass department. certainly for classical music they convey the concept of the venue very well.
The speakers I own now are a Danish brand called Peerless - they certainly live up to the name.
