John so sorry to hear this-do take care-I'll have my camera-hope you'll be able to make it in August! Regards, Lenjbuck919 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 17, 2018 1:47 pmYesterday, working in the yard, I put a nail through my foot. It has been attended to properly, but the doctor has advised me to move about as little as possible for a few days. This is not consistent with traveling to Manhattan on a hot summer's day. ... If Len takes pictures, please, may I get a copy? Otherwise I am well and there is no need to worry about me.

Re: Overdue for a meet-up?
LOLOL Thank you Hank. That is the funniest thing I've read here in years. Lully stabbed himself by accident. Perhaps I should make it clear that I stepped down on a nail, and did not drive one through my own foot. I'm a klutz, but not that big a klutz. Stuff happens.Ricordanza wrote: ↑Tue Jul 17, 2018 3:09 pmJohn B, we'll miss you, but hope you make a full recovery.
Hope you weren't trying to imitate Lully.

There's nothing remarkable about it. All one has to do is hit the right keys at the right time and the instrument plays itself.

Sorry you'll be missing the CMG lunch, which you set in motion. Maybe we can have another, as we've discussed - and maybe that can be at a time when Lance too can join us.

Didn't know how to post photos of the meetup here so posted them on Facebook. Very sorry you couldn't make it, John B! Hope your foot is better!

Hank thanks for providing the names-I forgot to ask someone to take a photo of me with the smartphone-here's a selfie I took of me earlier at the port authority-I rarely take selfies dueto ineptitude. We all had a wonderful luncheon at Pomodoro Rosso! The food was delicious and the company highly congenial. JohnB, please feel better and know that you were missed by all. Looking forward to the next one......

You don't take selfies, Len, because you're inherently 'koi'!!lennygoran wrote: ↑Thu Jul 19, 2018 6:29 amHank thanks for providing the names-I forgot to ask someone to take a photo of me with the smartphone-here's a selfie I took of me earlier at the port authority-I rarely take selfies dueto ineptitude.
