As noted above Richter strides like giant in this repertoire. But another Russian somewhat overlooked is Gilels. His D.850 on RCA and Moments Musicaux (Melodiya or Olympia) are exemplary (would love to someday hear is D.784 on Orfeo).

Also agree with those nominating Lupu and Andsnes. But another who seems to have been overlooked is Goode. All bring immense pleasure.

Still on the fence regarding Lewis.
