I'd say Having a Lark Ascending (up the Northbound escalator) by Vaughan Williams.

A wonderful performance of music by Mahler, Beethoven, Bach, Schubet or Haydn, I expect.

Tsk tsk, so Anglocentric.

I'm not making any predictions. Who would have predicted the Pachelbel Canon?

There's nothing remarkable about it. All one has to do is hit the right keys at the right time and the instrument plays itself.

Sean, Balsom's new CD, titled 'Seraph' on EMI should be available shortly. Alison is such a gifted artist, my friend. 8)

There's the problem right there! You're not supposed to eat them; you're supposed to listen. Wrong use of your anatomy, Chalkie. :D

^^ Thanks for that insight. I'd also been afflicted. CDs don't dunk at all well in a cuppa tea, do they?

Well I wasn't thinking about the cd, I was just looking for an excuse to post that gorgeous picture.

By the way, I can listen to an endless supply of music played by Miles (Davis) or Clifford (Brown).
