What a marvelous idea, Lenny. In fact I have thought about a get-together again since it's been a long time since our last one, and of course, some people there then are no longer amongst us now. Unfortunately, I will be in Georgia and Florida at that time (time shares). Would have loved to be with all of you. Since my daughter left the NYC area, and age has crept up on me (bad back yet!), I no longer have the patience to deal with traffic, parking, etc. (This IS a sign of getting older - plus I have a birthday in June that makes me even older!). NYC was a regular stomping ground for me over the years; in some ways I miss it, in others, I don't, except for people.

I agree it's a great idea. Unfortunately, I'm not available at that time due to my sleep disorder, Lenny, but thanks just the same. Would have loved to join you.....

I could say I'd rather have poisoned peacock with the Borgias but I don't want to get Lance all upset...

I responded too quickly-actually what I had in mind was a poisoned pheasant under glass. And what about your thoughts on Donizetti's opera [a blank?] Len

Now we can see what it takes to establish that Auntie Lynn is still with us: an opportunity to call out from the container marked "gratuitous rudeness" when we thought, or at least hoped, had been nailed shut long ago.

There's nothing remarkable about it. All one has to do is hit the right keys at the right time and the instrument plays itself.

Please let us know how much the dinner is and the manner of payment as soon as possible . A friend of mine , operatic tenor Richard Mandrangona ,now retired , is very much interested in going as a guest and I need to provide him with the necessary information , and he will be able to drive me as I'm confined to a wheelchair .
Richard is a really interesting guy and I think you will all enjoy meeting him . Thanks .

It all depends on how much you order-I think what people will pay will depend on what they order-each amount may vary--better check out the menu at the restaurant and please let me know if the 2 of you are definites as soon as possible-I think you should bring enough cash or a check or credit card to cover what you order. Regards and looking forward to it. Regards, Len

Chalkie

Don I listed as a possible

Horn and friend Richard Mandrangona

It's the Atlantic Grill and it starts at 5PM because John B and Len and Sue have a 7:30 curtain call

Wednesday afternoon will be the final "rehearsal" (complete runthrough) of "Treasures from the Sound Archive," but we'll be finished in plenty of time. I'll be at the Atlantic Grill for sure.

A reminder: Show time is at the Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center on Thursday, June 11, at 6pm. Anyone who hasn't reserved a seat can still do it here:

OK, I'm free, so will be happy to join you all at the Atlantic Grill!

John F: Is it possible to see the run-through of your program on Wednesday afternoon? I have to work on Thursday but would be happy to come into town earlier on Wednesday if I could see the run-through. I certainly feel a connection with those archives as my first two CD's got off the ground because of materials they had.

Hi, Donald - looking forward to seeing you on Wednesday.

As for the run-through, I'd have no problem with that, but it's not up to me. I'll ask the producer about it and let you know.
