Here is Stucky's Symphony as played by Gustavo Dudamel and the LA Phil. Comments please my fellow CMGers.

I've never met him, but I have *many* colleagues who'd studied with him, and to a person they say he was an unbelievably generous, kind, and wonderful teacher/man. I very much like his music; supremely talented fellow and truly one of our American giants.

Heard Alan Gilbert's/NYPSO 2012 perf of this work. A work worthy to stand with the great American symphonies.
