Don't know why I wondered, however.

Lance she deserves no sympathy at all--I have a record of all the bad things she said-how she tried to discourage the wonderful forum dinner we had--she knocked so many of us. Sincere regards, Len

Dear Lenny,

You have left out the possibility of there being any justification for the knocking.

There was no such justification, ever. It was pure meanness of spirit. She also boasted about her own pianism in terms that would need a combination of Horowitz and Michelangeli to be even half true. That's the kind of person she was and probably still is. She deserved to be locked out, and CMG has been the better for it. Thanks to Lance for showing her the door.

Michael did you read her posts-the really offensive ones-I don't think you could justify them-I'm sort of reluctant to even post them publicly-if you want to see some of them send me a PM and I'll send some of them privately to you. Regards, Len

Well, no question. It has been much more quiet. I was thinking of many late CMGers, most of whom have now passed on such as Ward Botsford, our founder, Werner Isler, and so many others, including Agnes. One-by-one, we depart.

Quite so. We regret some departures but not all of them.

Neither do I (know why you wondered, I mean).

There's nothing remarkable about it. All one has to do is hit the right keys at the right time and the instrument plays itself.

Well, just thinking of past members who are no longer amongst us, the great ones especially. Great that the rest of you are still here with boundless energy!
