Victoria Masterpiece PBS Music

Post by lennygoran » Mon Mar 13, 2017 6:24 am

We got into Victoria late because of the nearly filled up DVR-then I was forced by Comcast to get the new DVR and suddenly I had a lot of room-then PBS Thirteen did a Marathon and I DVRed the whole series-we've been enjoying it-I like that theme song!

and then there's that Schubert duet. Regards, Len

Yes, Len, we enjoyed the series a great deal, although the actress playing Victoria is much prettier than the real Queen Victoria, who was rather plain. I thought the drama was handled delicately and with finesse, and particularly enjoyed the scenes you posted. Another winner for PBS! More to come, of course.......

Brian thanks-we're up to the next to last episode-I'm so glad they did that marathon a few weeks ago and I captured all the episodes-very enjoyable, very dramtic and emotional-it reminded me of going to operas! Regards, Len :D
