Interesting. I met Dennis Prager 46 years ago....in Israel. Of course, he was not well known at the time.

I can see why some musicians don`t want anything to do with him-I find some of his views pretty bad. I wonder why they couldn`t find a less controversial conductor? I haven't met Prager , but decades ago, my parents were close friends of his in New York . We may have met decades ago when we were young boys (he's a few years older than I am ),. but I don't remember .
My mother remembered his mother Hilda, who died shortly before mine several years ago,into her nineties . I've sent him several emails and reminded him of our distant family connections , and he responded once or twice , but other emails were not answered, including the one I sent him last week about the conducting brouhaha .
