You have to go to the Youtube site to see the additional postings, which is why I am not literally posting this.

Bach had the greatest difficulty with his boy singers. They were a constant conflict between him and the council at Leipzig. A convincing case has been made that he would have preferred women, but he was stuck with what he had. By no means do I present this as the ideal performance, but it is probably better than any that Bach ever heard, unless it was by one of his own sons.
