Just back from NYC where we ate well so we probably won't need this NYCO benefit-in addition to that there were the 2 plays--wonder if someone can guess the play from the first 2 photos-- and a fabulous exhibit at the eastside Met on bamboo--a gardeners nightmare but just a superb medium for Japanese art!! Regards, Len

About Bevy:
Bevy, located in Central Park South opened in spring 2017 with a rustic, new American menu within a completely redesigned space by Yabu Pushelberg. Bevy thoughtfully sources local ingredients to create a menu of rotating seasonal mains, vegetable-centric sides, wood-fired preparations, and dishes “For Two.” Bevy's pastry program showcases French-inspired pastries made by hand daily, most notably their famed éclairs. Premier and vintage Champagne and wines curated by Tristan Prat-Vincent and contemporary classic cocktails round out the offerings. The space features mixed warm, earth tones throughout with the custom SWARM light art installation as its centerpiece in the bar room from London-based design studio, Random International. A custom painting executed by Moss and Lam Art Studio surrounds the room and a curved dark walnut-stained bar is underlit with a soft glow. Two dining rooms feature wood-paneled walls, tonal ombre rugs underfoot, and custom bronze light fixtures by Brooklyn-based Lindsey Adelman and mirrored sconces that cast ambient light throughout. A 1,200-bottle wine library with a custom ladder is found in the north side of the room.
