Please help with Spanish words

Post by Allen » Tue Nov 21, 2017 5:45 pm

Dear friends

I need to translate these words into English:

Luz de la Mahana
Palla pa’ca (Solea Por Bulerias)

I am not sure if these are Spanish words.
I have tried the auto-translators on the web but to no avail.

Could anyone help?

Many thanks.

Even if Spanish has a common orthography, different dialects have their own pronunciations.
Andalusian Spanish in particular features a very distinctive pronunciation. This pronunciation is not reflected in the written language, with some exceptions, as in flamenco vocabulary, where the words you're asking about belong to.
That's why you're having trouble with translators.
The first phrase has a typo. It should be "Luz de la Mañana". The translation is Morning Light.
"Pa'llá pa'cá" should be written "Para allá, para acá" in proper Spanish. The translation into English depends on the context, but it should be something similar to "here and there" or "back and forth".
In flamenco songs it is very common to include in parentheses the "palo" the song belongs to. In this case, it seems to be the combination of two palos: soleá and bulerías.
