He continues to post on Facebook. He has and had a gigantic life and career apart from our poor power to add or detract. Though I consider him a friend, I have often wondered why he ever commiserated with the likes of us to begin with. It may not have been evident to everybody at all times, but I think he just loves people. You will forgive me for the following. (Undoubtedly Chalkie knows Streisand among many other famous figures in the pop music world.)

I can confirm that Chalkie continues to post on FB. He is among my friends there, and he has done more than one post already today, Saturday, December 9, of photographs of other works of art from museums.
