"Opera Session" CD for Piano going unnoticed, I think

Most of us pianophiles are very much aware of the transcriptions of opera excerpts made by other composers, especially those of Franz Liszt. The Andromeda label, usually inexpensive, has a reputation (as part of Archipel) for reissuing live or pre-recorded music from other labels at relatively low pricing. Occassionally, they issue other material at higher prices. One such disc is this "Opera Session," with rare transcriptions by composers you see outlined in the images placed above. The pianist is Giacomo di Tollo, about whom not much is known, which was his whole purpose in making this recording and bringing to the attention that is relatively unknown insofar as transcriptions are concerned.

It's good playing, but I don't much care of the piano used. It doesn't sound like a full concert grand and doesn't have the resonance in the tenor- and bass areas. I did hear some bad digital editing in a couple of places, surely required for such difficult music to play through with no errors in one take.
