Sony Box Set for Anniversary of Zurich Tonhalle

Does anyone have any information as to the contents of a box set to be issued in March 2018 by Sony Classical entitled: "Celebrating 150 Years of Tonhalle Orchester--​Z​ürich." This is a 14-CD box set and a number of conductors are listed including ​ Lorin Maazel, Rudolf Kempe, Bernard Haitink, David Zinman, Christoph Eschenbach, Herbert Blomstedt, Gerd Albrecht, Klaus Peter Flor, Hiroshi Wakasugi, and Lionel Bringuer, which makes me think that most of the recordings would be in reasonably modern stereo (a few of the older ones, such as some works conducted by Othmar Schoeck, excepted). The price on Amazon is about $114.00 at this point. However, I cannot find a listing anywhere of the contents. I have a lot of Zinman's recordings in another huge box and I don't want too much duplication; I would appreciate having some rare repertoire, particularly Swiss composers. Can anyone come up with a listing of the contents? Thanks.

The Tonhalle Orchestra is second-rate and as far as I know it always has been. While it's had some notable chief conductors none stayed beyond 4-5 years. Volkmar Andreae, who may be known to some here for his Bruckner recordings, was an exception, remaining for 43 years; Lance doesn't include him among the many conductors he names, but I should think Sony wouldn't leave him out.

This would NOT be a set in which I would be interested in though I'm sure there are some great things therein. I have some recordings by the Zurich Tonhalle on an individual basis that are excellent, mostly because of the collaborative artists, but as a set, I'm not a taker on this one.

John, I haven't heard many recordings by the Tonhalle orchestra , mostly the ones with Zinman conducting , but at least under Zinman , it did not sound like a "second rate orchestra "
to me .
The playing on their Mahler cycle , in particular , and Beethoven under Zinman did not seem inferior to more famous orchestras such as the Venna Philharmonic, Concertgebouw , Staatskapelle, Dresden and Berlin Philharmonic to me .

The mysterious item on CDs 5-6 is probably Othmar Schoeck's opera "Penthesilea," which I have in another recording. I have no clue as to what the Liszt item is, unless it is some sort of a transcription by Holliger. Unfortunately, there is not enough repertory of interest in this set to warrant a purchase.

I was right about the Schoeck opera, but the strange "Liszt" item is the Holliger violin concerto. (That has also been recorded by Zehetmair on ECM.) Of course, Liszt never wrote any violin concertos.
