Ivan Davis, who introduced me to the amazing music of Louis Moreau Gottschalk has died.

Ah, that's too bad. I spoke with him a few times when I was a student at UM. Nice fellow, and very gifted pianist.

Very sad to see this. Fabulous pianist who should have made many more recordings in my opinion.
