I don't necessarily expect anyone to listen to this all the way through, but it does give you an idea of some of the treasures we have here. Also, by posting this I am committing myself to attending the Sunday performance instead of just coming home from church and calling it a day. (Glens Falls is a 40-minute drive and I substitute teach there all the time.) Look for my report on the review board. Countdown to summer music in the north country. 3-2-1-launch.

Saratoga Chamber Players appearing this weekend
There's nothing remarkable about it. All one has to do is hit the right keys at the right time and the instrument plays itself.

You picked the right day-the 2 weekends later the Goran's will be up there frantically seeking out 5 Saratoga Springs private gardens that will be open and they're all new for us! Regards, Len

Well I hope it won't be too frantic with GPS, but as I'm sure you've already noticed not all those locations are exactly in the same neighborhood. Schuylerville, for instance, which is where the Battle of Saratoga actually took place, is not terribly close to Saratoga. There's one town I never even heard of. Though it is technically in Saratoga County, it is close if to anything than to Schenectady. Still, you are the most intrepid driver I know of on the board, so I have no doubt that you'll have a completely satisfying day assuming it doesn't rain. I don't want to complicate matters by suggesting a "three is a crowd" situation, but maybe we can touch bases while you're up here. I'll send you a PM.lennygoran wrote: ↑Sun Jun 10, 2018 6:32 amYou picked the right day-the 2 weekends later the Goran's will be up there frantically seeking out 5 Saratoga Springs private gardens that will be open and they're all new for us! John yeah we noticed the places are spread out-we may have to pick and choose and only see 3 or 4 of the gardens. Also we're spending 2 nights in Albany and will work our way North-we chose Albany because it's at least within the range of the 5 gardens-we wanted to stay in Saratoga Springs but the prices were sky high--high prices and not even while the racing was going on.
