A Swedish friend heard a broadcast of Harding's Mahler 9 and says it's good. Otherwise there's nothing in this list that I'd even bother to listen to, let alone buy.

I have the Fagioli recital CD, and reviewed it in another thread. Strongly recommended for lovers of the Baroque, this disc earned a five star review for glorious singing.

Philippe Jordan (son of Armin) leads very fine Beethoven on his new disc.

Chongyon Shin's debut piano recital on the Steinway label has received glowing reviews in the press. I haven't heard it yet, but it's on my list.

The only CD I have out of that WQXR list is DGG's Franco Fagioli Handel disc, which is quite wonderful. The others are not calling out to me - yet.
