Interesting selection and ordering of works.You may hear differently , my impression
Debargue feels all the Chopin “Heroic” and are thus presented. The Bach Toccata is extended and expanded “heroically “ by the first mov. of Op.111 and that mov’s. own toccata-like elements, the “Arietta “ , with both heroic and introspective elements as with the Chopins, bringing his recital to the affirmative end with which it began.

One encore ; not sure, possibly a Medtner or Tchaikovsky or Lyapunov ?

One may not agree with the interpretations , but Debargue usually worth hearing as in this recital.
