Can I believe my eyes? Amazon has this showing for $600 on their site! I paid less than 10% of that. It was only released in 2017, total of 25 CDs, but as a limited edition. This and his EMI/Warner edition probably gives you the best of Fournier. No question, Fournier was a prolific recording artist appearing on all the major labels and countless others. He is very well represented on discs.

I didn't get it, as I have nearly all the recordings anyway.
But that Amazon price - is that genuine? Is anyone actually paying that or is it some algorhytm or computer trick?

On Amazon, I would suspect it is REAL. If you were to order it, you would probably get it at that price. Amazon also has the new SZELL Edition for, last I looked, near $900. I understand it is being given a second production because it exceeded Sony's ideas of just how it would sell. Sell, it did! The other point is that AMAZON got the largest distribution of the Szell set. Other retailers are still waiting for their copies. So, in most cases, it is the old law of supply and demand.
