Well today we watched the movie version of Marnie-very interesting to compare this with the opera we saw live at the Met-in the beginning I thought I wasn't going to enjoy this too much-even a little corny in the beginning after the opera experience-it was certainly wonderfully photographed and the music was composed by Bernard Herrmann. There was much very good dialogue and the last scene with the mother was very dramatic-I must say a surprisingly good experience with enough difference from the opera to make for 2 pretty nice Marnie's! Heddren was superb and Connery wasn't chopped liver either! Regards, Len
