Hi Len!

Yes, we saw that last night, an excellent bio clip. I love his enthusiasm: one can only hope the orchestra catches it from him. Deborah Borden has staked her reputation on Van Zweden, and I sincerely hope he works out better for them than did his predecessor.

Fascinating, as Mr. Spock would say. Um, I'm going to kick myself, or you're going to wonder if I am really, a musician, or both, but here goes. I don't own the Shazzam app. What is the concerto that van Zweden is playing as a very young violinist near the beginning of the segment? It could just be that the excerpt is out of context, but I really did not recognize it.

There's nothing remarkable about it. All one has to do is hit the right keys at the right time and the instrument plays itself.
