Two days after the wonderful new Met Traviata we had occasion to visit this show at the Cooper Hewitt on NYC's Museum Mile-Saturated: The Allure and Science of Color-there was a room that seemed to show what one can do with light and color-it reminded me so much of what the Met's new production had done with their sets-the basic set remained in place for the whole opera but the color light effects changed the look based on the opera's locale! It was a wonderful exhibit-many striking images! Regards, Len
