Pianist Laurent Wagschal in recital

This pianist, possibly new to me ( I may have a Naxos cd of him playing works of Deodat de Severac ) re-creates in Madrid, 2015, a Ricardo Vines - style recital. An interesting selection of works, some new to me , eg. the Moreau a little gem.Very fine playing ( despite a miss at the very end of the Franck ; bit more sonority would have been helpful in the Debussy ) :

César Franck (1822-1890)
Prelude, Chorale and Fugue

Ernest Chausson
Paysage, Op 38

Vincent D'Indy (1851-1931)
Lac Vert and La Poste (Tableux de voyage)

Gabriel Fauré (1845-1924)
Theme and Variations in C sharp minor, Op 73

Gustav Samazeuilh (1877-1967)
Suite in G minor (Prelude)

Henry Février (1875-1957)
Nocturne

Léon Moreau (1876-1940)
Dans la nuit

René-Emmanuel Baton (1879-1940)
Prélude oriental

Gabriel Pierné (1863-1937)
Nocturne en forme de valse, Op 40 No 2

Claude Debussy (1862-1918)
L'isle joyeuse

Déodat de Séverac (1872-1921)
Coin de cimetière en printemps, No 4 from 'En Languedoc'

Maurice Ravel (1875-1937)
Jeux d'eaux

Emmanuel Chabrier (1841-1894)
Bourrée fantasque
