Weinberg Violin and Cello Concertos

My first hearings of each. Interesting works, at times reminiscent of Shostakovich, Prokofieff, but with own voice. I enjoyed the Violin Concerto more, not sure goes on my to buy list yet, but both works worth hearing. Briefly discussed here in the past.

Actually after further listenings I've grown more fond of Weinberg's Cello Concerto , but Gidon Kremer impressive here with Dresden Staaskapelle under Paavo Jarvi, live in 2018 :
