Schubert's D.929 ( Op.100 ) Piano Trio
Re: Schubert's D.929 ( Op.100 ) Piano Trio
Congratulations on a fine pick! Played with passion, respect and ultra-fine musicianship. I have heard of Mullova and Wispelwey, of course, but not the pianist, who is quite the equal of the two string players. Interpretively, this is right up my alley. Five stars, and many thanks for sharing!Rach3 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 02, 2019 6:21 pmA live performance not to be missed , IMHO:

The fortepianist here has forged quite a reputation as both a fortepianist and pianist as well as conductor. I suspect he has a webpage. This D.929 may be the first fortepiano performance I’ve liked.

Bezuidenhout is apparently an Afrikaner , who studied in Australia and USA, now based in London:

Very impressive web page, I must admit. I'll have to try some of his recordings, especially his Mozart......
