WQXR suggests 19 CM artists to watch in 2019:

Here is one of those 19, young cellist phenom Sheku Kanneh-Mason playing the Elgar Cello Concerto live in November,2018, in England with BBC Sym.,Brabbins. Thought he was a little unsure of himself until final mov. , but certainly worth hearing especially in this great masterpiece:

Complete new Harmonia Mundi cd for free listening , Berlioz’ “Harold in Italy” and “ Les Nuits d’ete “ here. Have not heard " Harold " as not my cup of tea, but fyi . Do hope to hear "Nuits" later:

Perhaps follow these as well, although not on the WQXR list:

Violinist Maria Milstein in recital with her sister, pianist Nathalia Milstein ( not related to Nathan Milstein ). From a Google translation of the Radio 4 page:

“They play 'as if they had grown out of one body' without any technical limitation, de Volkskrant wrote jubilantly about their first CD La Sonate de Vinteuil, inspired by Marcel Proust. Violinist Maria Milstein and her sister, pianist Nathalia, play the sonatas of Debussy and Saint-Saëns live together, supplemented by the famous Sonata in A by César Franck and the Sonate posthume by Maurice Ravel, which was rediscovered in 1975.

De Volkskrant called her a 'white raven in violin land' and compared her tone 'that sounds to melancholy' with that of the young Yehudi Menuhin. Maria Milstein quickly makes a name in the Netherlands and abroad. In January she received the prestigious Dutch Music Award and the CD she recorded together with her sister Nathalia received international praise. The violinist of the famous Van Baerle Trio found in her sister, who already has several prizes behind her name, the ideal duo partner.”

Jan.5,2019 live , Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ
