Wang expands her repertoire (?). Have not heard this “ Blue Hour “ cd, mentioned briefly on today’s BBC 3 Record Review. The Brahms and Mendelssohn lieder are mostly single works from the indicated Opa. ( Only the clarinetist on the front cover ! )

Ottensamer is a brilliant clarinetist. Still not 30, he has been principal at the Berlin Phil for 8 years. This is a really fine CD.

Good choice, Brian. I really enjoyed this one, mainly for the clarinettist, but Yuja Wang brings a lot too.
