Me, a big fan of Cziffra, like many others. I have collected his recordings with vigour. I wonder if this will be issued on CD at some point. I'm sure that most - if not all - of these pieces at this recital have been recorded. Still, his live performance recordings a wonderful to hear. Thank you for this good tip!

Rach3----

I have tried for a few times to get the Cziffra link to work, but it doesn't play. It just links to a page with small pictures of various programs, with Cziffra at the top; none of them play for me. Would love to hear this: can you check it out please and post a link that works? Thanks.......

Worked for me, too. You might try going into Firefox or Microsoft's Edge and see if it will play for you. What are you using now to open these sites?

Am using Chrome, don't have Firefox. Tried with Microsoft and it worked! Thanks for the suggestion, Lance. :)

Am listening now. The sound is acceptable: it's obviously an amateur recording using either a portable reel-to-reel deck or a cassette in stereo. It sounds like the recordist was sitting in the front row, and has edited out the applause. Cziffra is in fine form throughout. Thanks for posting this rarity! :)
