Tonight's Versailles Portrait of a Royal Domain

First time ever to Jordan Hall in Boston-BEMF had a clever idea-the works of Charpentier, Lully and de Lalande-pleasant music, effective singing, great costumes and good movement on the stage by all the singers and the one non singer, Louis XIV-when he got out of the wheel chair and started dancing though he made up for the lack of singing! Old instruments were used like the viola da gamba and the theorbo. Len :)
