London Philharmonic has a new chief conductor

Edward Gardner has got the gig. He's currently with the Bergen Philharmonic. He's got the talent - and the looks - and he's a local boy!!! Good choice.

I agree, Belle! I have lots of excellent recordings by Gardner: he's very disciplined and makes excellent musical choices. Congratulations to him! :)
