Domingo out of hospital

Post by Philip M » Mon Mar 30, 2020 4:32 pm

CNN Mexico reports he was discharged today after being treated for Covid-19.

He is back home in Acapulco in a stable condition.

Excellent news. 79, isn't he? Right in the most dangerous group.

His son Jose told me that he was in the Clinic mainly as a precaution, so he could be monitored full time, he's back home now and enjoying good food again.

Yes, Chalkie, thank you for keeping us updated. Did you ever work with the late Joe Diffie?

This reminded me of the wonderful forum dinner we had at his restaurant many years ago-it was the Compuserve Forum and he came over and said hello to us after he had finished his own meal-he was sitting at a table with his wife and another couple pretty close to where our group was--at one point he had his arm around Sue and I remember talking with him briefly and patting him on the shoulder! Regards, Len :D
