Been keeping tabs on Beatrice Rana since she won a silver medal in the Van Cliburn. She's an extraordinary artist. Many of her CDs are available for streaming on amazon Prime, and are well worth collecting, including an extraordinary Goldberg at such a young age!

Her last name means frog in Italian. She's more like a princess to me! :D Saw her on 60 Minutes. A charming, intelligent woman.

Thanks, Rach3!

Just finished listening. The audience response was overwhelmingly enthusiastic, and I concur! For those watching this thread, DON'T MISS THIS! Rana electrifies in her Chopin, competes handily with De Larrocha in the Albeniz, and tosses off the Petrushka movements with aplomb. A truly extraordinary program: this should be issued on CD!

Many thanks for posting, Rach3!
