And I hope mother's are at least, somehow, enjoy your special day! You KNOW you are loved! And those of us who no longer have our mothers, we greatly miss them and think about them so much.

Just checked again: 162 now.

We never really know who is "lurking" on CMG, but both, members and people who are interested in site don't always join in, as I wish they would. There IS a quick way to join, as shown on another thread at the top. What, NO Mother's Day or Father's Day in the UK? I never knew that until now. How about Australia?

We have Mother's day (or mothering Sunday as it was traditionally called) and it's on the 4th Sunday in lent which was March 22nd this year.

Yes, it was mothers' day for us on Sunday. I bought flowers for my wife, a mother and grandmother, and for my daughter, a mother. She was with us for Saturday night with our grandson.
It's totally a commercial invention, but I don't care.
