My first hearings of this wonderful music, the Piano Trios, and “Melody” and “Ballade” for violin and piano. Naxos cd by the Arden Trio ordered. Uncomplicated Brahmsian,Dvorakian late Romanticism I usually love, 2nd Trio especially. Foote a contemporary of Amy Beach,Edward MacDowell,John Knowles Paine.
