Indeed! Thanks for this! We love Borge, and have seen him live on Broadway several times.
One evening performance that we attended, Borge was wearing afternoon formal (grey tails and striped pants!). We couldn't figure it out, until, visibly annoyed, he began making fun of his son who had forgotten to pick up his evening outfit from the dry cleaners! Hilarious routine that he must have made up on the spot!

Yes, gentlemen - I think Victor Borge represents the "class" in the word classical.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Victor Borge and Anton Kontra
Loved Victor Borge. I prepared a piano one time for him for a show ... his son was his traveling companion and helped to get things set up for the stage. He was one of the most miserable people I have ever had the experience to work with over a long period of time. But he was old(er) then. As soon as he got on stage, it was the Borge that we all know and loved. Another great pianist I worked with was Earl Wild, who was also miserable. He did like the idea that I had collected all his recordings, however!
