I think their thread is on the movies forum.
"Most men, including those at ease with problems of the greatest complexity, can seldom accept even the simplest and most obvious truth if it would oblige them to admit the falsity of conclusions which they have delighted in explaining to colleagues, which they have proudly taught to others, and which they have woven, thread by thread, into the fabric of their lives." ~Leo Tolstoy

"It is the highest form of self-respect to admit our errors and mistakes and make amends for them. To make a mistake is only an error in judgment, but to adhere to it when it is discovered shows infirmity of character." ~Dale Turner

"Anyone who doesn't take truth seriously in small matters cannot be trusted in large ones either." ~Albert Einstein
"Truth is incontrovertible; malice may attack it and ignorance may deride it; but, in the end, there it is." ~Winston Churchill

Maybe we should have a special forum on drumming to make them feel welcome.

Ralph, do you mean anthropophagite? If so, I think we may have a few! By the way, I am awarding you the William F. Buckley award for March (the award goes to the first person each month who forces me to consult a dictionary, and many months no award is made).

One of the most hilarious exchanges I ever saw between two show co-hosts was between Hannity and Colmes. Hannity was going into a rant about one climate hysteric, probably Paul Ehrlich, who claimed eventual cannibalism was the only logical outcome of AGW and Colmes mused, "I wonder which is tastier, Democrats or Republicans!" I completely lost it. The production staff could be heard laughing off-camera, the whole rant completely fell apart.

Tastes great. Less filling.

Probably not, but I'm not so sure about men whose heads do grow below their shoulders.

There's nothing remarkable about it. All one has to do is hit the right keys at the right time and the instrument plays itself.

Both spellings are accepted. The one I used is the one the society I belong to has always preferred.

What's the proper noun for horse meat eater? And I do wonder why they, too, are underrepresented on this illustrious board!

And I was led to think by my British counterparts that it was "chevalinegourmand." Needless to say that the horse meat eating taboo proved especially deepseated in English-speaking countries.

Would that be AA (Anthropophagists Anonymous) or UAW (University Anthropophagist Wonks) of perhaps AFT (Anthropophagists Federal Thinktank)?
