Dear Corlyss:
I'm so sorry the absence of my pithy posts has caused you to experience a relapse of cyber writers' cramp. I'll do my best to check in more often in the future. P.S. Happy Easter!

It's good to be back among friends from the past.

Chalkie brought it to my attention that he's gotten requests for updates on Corlyss' condition.
I had an email exchange with her last week. She's still having a bit of a rough time of it in terms of discomfort, but she said there was some improvement as of the time of that last email. It's a skin condition that is worst on her arm. She went from the people who were treating her to her regular doctor after a series of anti-biotics that were tried didn't do the trick. He was trying something new, and as I mentioned above, it seemed to be working as of last week. But if it doesn't work, her doctor was threatening to send her to Salt Lake City for treatment, and she's strongly hoping to avoid that.
It's still difficult for her to spend a lot of time on-line. I'll let you know when I hear more.

Thanks, Barry.
"Most men, including those at ease with problems of the greatest complexity, can seldom accept even the simplest and most obvious truth if it would oblige them to admit the falsity of conclusions which they have delighted in explaining to colleagues, which they have proudly taught to others, and which they have woven, thread by thread, into the fabric of their lives." ~Leo Tolstoy

Thanks Barry, and if you are in touch with Corlyss, please tell her I am absolutely stricken that she did not consult me about this, as it is my specialty!
Seriously, my best wishes for her recovery.

Corlyss has always been here for anyone dealing with serious illness or any personal misfortune. I miss her and think of her every day. I hope she will soon return.
