Mythodea Anyone??

Post by Dennis Spath » Fri Jun 01, 2012 2:16 pm

I've recently discovered (listening to as I post) and have been fascinated by this relatively recent massive composition for Chorus and Orchestra by the Greek Composer Vangelis. Is anyone here familiar with this work? The entire work as performed at the Temple of Zeus in Athens is available on You Tube. I can provide the link for anyone who is interested.

I know nothing about it and little about Vangelis, but it sounds interesting.

I can post the link for the complete hour and fifteen minute production (English vs Greek titles) on Monday, but for a brief taste may I suggest you request "Mythodea Mvmt V" on You Tube.
